CherryStars Agency

About Us

Cherry Stars is a unique, vibrant and exciting children’s agency dealing in Film, Television, Stage, Voice Over, Print and commercials.

The agency is run by Sharon Cherry Ballard and Amy Louise Pemberton. Sharon and Amy met playing opposite each other as Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother in the critically acclaimed QDOS Pantomime CINDERELLA starring Brian Conley!

“We hit it off from day one and what’s so special about Pantomime is, that it’s normally a child’s very first experience of theatre. The magic, the excitement, the participation and this is for both the children in the audience and the children who are employed to work on the stage. We aim to give children these experiences in every field of the business. We believe that our extensive knowledge and experience being in this business is what sets us apart from other agencies. Not only are Sharon and I great friends, we are also great business partners” - (Amy)

“ Having both successfully built our own careers, we understand how everything works and also have great relationships with casting directors, directors and producers who trust us and who are only too happy to consider our artists for work in all areas of the industry. On top of this both Amy and I have many years teaching experience and our classes that are ran at The Brit School of Performing Arts attract such raw and diverse talent. Having a background knowledge of our students capabilities from their training with us makes it so much easier to suggest the strongest candidates for any job.” (Sharon)
